- The Connecticut River Museum has announced that its Executive Director, Jennifer Carlson, will leave her post to return to Pennsylvania. In a press release, Carlson said, “The pandemic and the world events of the past couple years have caused many people to re-prioritize their lives.” She added, “Right now, being more available to family and friends is very important to me and my husband.” Carlson's last day at the Museum will be March 31. - The Community Foundation of Middlesex County gave a grant to the Ivoryton Playhouse to help with the renovation of the communal kitchen, located in the lower level of the Playhouse. The kitchen area incurred over $80,000 worth of damage after Hurricane Ida. The Ivoryton Playhouse recently finished the kitchen renovation project and is excited about the start of its season on April 7. (Facebook)
