Runners Take Your Mark! For the 4 on the Fourth in Chester!
The annual 4 on the Fourth Road Race held each in Chester put on by the Chester Rotary will be a hybrid event for 2021.
CHESTER, CT — The 43rd Chester Rotary 4 on the Fourth Road Race will be a hybrid event this year! Runners will have the option to run a virtual race beginning Sunday morning, July 4 and continuing through Sunday evening, July 11; or choose to be one of up to 500 runners to run the in-person race on Monday morning, July 5, 2021.
According to a recent Facebook post about the event, the in-person race will be professionally chip timed and organized to allow for social distancing. Runner’s will be grouped in wave starts beginning at 9am and moving quickly. Please note: If the Connecticut COVID-19 Guidelines change and prohibit in-person events, all in-person registrations will be automatically transferred to the virtual race.
