Special Chester Town Meeting To Be Held On 12/15

CHESTER, CT — Special Chester Town Meeting to be held on Wednesday December 15, at 7 p.m. at the Chester Meeting House and via zoom.

Masks are required for the in-person meeting.

On December 15, the Chester Board of Selectmen will hold a Special Town Meeting in person at the Chester Meeting House to vote on amendments or adoption of four Town Ordinances, along with appropriations from American Rescue Plan Act Funds for the following items:

Generator for Town Hall
Expansion of Tri-Town Clinical and Mental Health Services
Repair and Replacement of sewer system infrastructure
Refrigerated Truck for Shoreline Soup kitchen/Pantry
Replacement Fire/Rescue boat - Chester Hose Co.
Technological Upgrades to Town Hall and Meeting House
Contracted personnel to enhance public health/soc. svcs
