- Taking a visible stand against gun violence in this country, Middletown High School students have organized a walkout for Tuesday morning. Advocating change on a national level, Student Education and Activism Middletown Co-President Lucy Torgerson organized the Students Demand Action rally to advocate for change. “The recent shooting at Robb Elementary has left us in shock and horror, and we are appalled by the current gun legislation that has caused it to occur in the first place," said Torgerson, according to a Middletown Press article.(Middletown Press)
