Tip It Out Tuesdays And Help Control The Mosquito Population
It's that time of year again, Mosquito season in the River Valley, so be careful, take precautions and be sure to tip out any standing water
ESSEX, CT — Looking out for the health and safety of the residents and community, the Essex town government is urging people to "Tip It Out" and take a few minutes, at least once a week to tip out collected water in an effort to help control the mosquito population in the area this summer.
Mosquitoes can carry serious diseases like West Nile Virus (WNV) and Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), which can present a serious public health concern.
Mosquitos cannot transmit the COVID-19 virus.
