Volunteers Needed For The 4 On The 4th In Chester
This year the race will be held on Monday, July 5th. Fifteen additional volunteers are needed to ensure things "run" smoothly.
CHESTER, CT — VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The Chester Rotary Four-on-the-Fourth Road Race is back in person this year, with the date of Monday, July 5 (the race is not held on Sundays). This year the race has the option of running in-person on our four-mile trek or running virtual, choosing your own place and time. Visit ChesterRotary.org for a link to sign up.
According to a recent email from the town of Chester, about 15 volunteers are needed to help at the water stops along the race (filling cups and collecting used cups for trash) and we are hoping Chester residents can help us out (approximately 8:30 to 10:30 on July 5). The job is easy, the runners will thank you, and volunteers will receive a Road Race t-shirt as another thank you! Volunteers must sign-up in advance (and let us know your t-shirt size). We will have 2-3 people at each stop, so make it a friend or family project if you wish!
Email jantaigen@gmail.com by Wednesday, June 16 to sign up as a volunteer!
