  1. Getting back to normal, this year's Valley Regional High School graduation will not require face masks or social distancing. The event will be held on Wednesday, June 8, at 6:30 p.m. outside on the school grounds. Like years past, prior to the pandemic, the 166 graduating seniors, in the class of 2022, will be sitting side by side on bleachers and family and friends will also sit side by side in the audience. Congratulations seniors! (Zip06.com)
  2. Old Saybrook police officer Tyler Schultz will serve a 90-day suspension due to his alleged involvement in a bar fight at Scotch Plains Tavern in Essex. According to The New London Day, Officer Schulz, has been with the Old Saybrook police department for the past seven years. He was charged in March with second-degree breach of peace. Reportedly, Schulz's union attorney said the criminal case was nulled, meaning it was not prosecuted. (Patch)
