Here are the top three stories today in Essex-Chester-Deep River:

1. Here is a list of Middlesex County students who made the dean's list for the spring semester at their colleges and universities. Do you recognize any of the names on this list?(Middletown Press)
2. Do you want to add a furry ball of four-legged love and affection to your family? Look no further than these Essex-Chester-Deep River animal shelters for a pet available for adoption. 3. Ceci Wilkens had a great season with Valley Regional High School's girls’ outdoor track team. She started as a high jumper but ended up finishing strong as a hurdler. She took fourth place in the 300 hurdles at the Shoreline Conference Championship. According to the Valley Courier article, "Ceci went on to run the 300 hurdles at the Class M State Championship, finishing in 23rd place with a time of 55.27."
