- With an eye toward honoring veterans, Governor Ned Lamont announced Friday that the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles is now offering 10 new license plate options for veterans that commemorate specific wartime periods. The plates are exclusively for veterans who served during specific periods of war and who received campaign medals. (Patch)
- The chassis for the new Deep River Fire Department Truck has arrived at Gowans-Knight Company Inc. The Deep River Fire Department Truck Committee is excited to share the pictures with everyone. (Deep River Fire Department)
- The Essex Park and Recreation Department is offering a, Virtual Boating & Personal Watercraft Safety Certification Class, which will be held the last weekend in March.
