Area Police Warn of Aggressive Dog on the Loose

On Saturday Nov. 30, 2013, an aggressive dog escaped from a kennel on Rescue Lane in Bloomfield, Simsbury police said Monday evening. The dog is a very large, black and tan Rottweiler with a long tail. The dog is extremely aggressive toward people and other dogs. 

The dog was last seen during the afternoon hours on Dec. 2, 2013 on Tunxis Avenue in Bloomfield.  If you see the dog, use caution and call your local police department, police said.
