East Granby Friend to Friend Food Pantry's Thrift Shop Events

The Friend to Friend Thrift Shop at 32 Spoonville Road in East Granby opens for its shopping season on Saturday, April 1, 2023 after our usual winter hibernation. The store hours will be Tuesday and Saturdays, 10-2 and Thursdays 12-4. All monies raised directly fund the Friend to Friend Food Pantry, a 501(c)3 that provides food assistance to qualified East Granby residents.

Prior to our shop re-opening in April, we are hosting a Cabin Fever Online Auction on our Friend to Friend Thrift Shop Facebook page from March 3-10. It will feature both, new and unused items in addition to gently used, unusual and more valuable items for bid. If you have something to donate, please email friendtofriendthriftshop@gmail.com or text/call Sandy at 860-392-8362. We would like to have items in hand by Wednesday, March 1st. Donation receipts available.

The Friend to Friend Thrift Shop also holds a Donation Drop-Off Event to help stock our shop before we open. We are looking for gently used spring/summer clothing, jewelry, pocketbooks, shoes, artwork, small housewares, complete/working games, etc. We DO NOT collect books, used bedding or large furniture as we are a small space. Items can be dropped off on Saturday, March 18 from 10am to 2pm at our shop. Donation receipts available.
