First-Round Pairings Announced For CIAC Boys Ice Hockey Tournaments

HARTFORD-TOLLAND COUNTIES, CT — Brackets have been released for the three CIAC boys ice hockey tournaments, with opening round games slated for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the home rinks of the higher seeds.

Fourteen programs from schools in Hartford and Tolland counties have qualified for postseason play. The highest seeds among teams from the area are E.O. Smith/Tolland (No. 2 in Div. III) and defending champion Conard (No. 3 in Div. III).
