GRANBY - A Simsbury resident is $30,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in Granby earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

On December 30, Marco Oliveira, in Simsbury, purchased a 30X Cash 8th Edition ticket from the Cumberland Farms in Granby and won $30,000.
