Granby Man Charged After Gunshots Fired During Neighbor Dispute

GRANBY, CT — A neighbor dispute Sunday night led to a man firing more than 30 gunshots before he was taken into custody on numerous charges.

Granby police were dispatched to Morningside Drive around 7:30 p.m., where investigation revealed that more than two dozen gunshots had been fired. No injuries were reported, Capt. Kurt LaFlamme said.

Stephen Gilbert, 30, was charged with first-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge of a firearm, carrying a firearm while under the influence and second-degree breach of peace. A $20,000 cash/surety bond was set, LaFlamme said.
