Wednesday afternoon programs and activities at Granby's public schools and Parks and Recreation department are canceled because of the approaching snow.

With Wednesday's Nor'easter already dropping snow on the area, Granby's public schools, East Granby's public schools and Granby's parks and recreation department have canceled afternoon programs and activities, according to NBC Connecticut.

Remember to take caution on roads as the temperature drops and snow and ice may begin to stick instead of melting. The temperature in the area as of 1 p.m. was 35 °F according to the National Weather Service. However, the overnight low is predicted to be 30 °F, below the freezing point.
