House Fire Early Sunday In Granby: Authorities

Responding officers found the blaze had extended from the garage to the main residence.

GRANBY, CT — Emergency crews responded to a house fire early Sunday morning in Granby.

Police received a report around 6:45 a.m. of a residential garage fire on Hayfield Lane, according to authorities, who said officers arrived at the scene to find the blaze had extended to the main residence.

The Lost Acres Fire Department responded and started fire suppression, with East Granby, East Hartland, Simsbury and Southwick fire agencies assisting.

No injuries were reported and the Red Cross was notified. Kelly Lane was closed from Bushy Hill to Creamery Hill roads as of about 9:30 a.m. due to the fire.
