State And Local Police Investigating Incident At Granby House

The Connecticut State Police Major Crime Unit has been summoned to assist Granby police.

GRANBY, CT - Officers from the Granby Police Department and the Connecticut State Police Major Crime Unit are conducting an investigation into a "suspicious death" at a house at 34 Hartford Avenue, Capt. Kurt LaFlamme said.

Police were dispatched to the house around 11 p.m. Thursday. On Friday morning, yellow police tape still surrounded the tan 2-story home.

Around noon, the body of Keith Shaffer was removed from the premises. No further information was provided.
