State Police Investigating Burglar Alarm At East Granby Gas Station

EAST GRANBY, CT — A string of gas station burglaries which has plagued north-central Connecticut in recent days appears to be continuing after an apparent burglary attempt was made early Thursday morning in East Granby.

State police spokesman TFC Pedro Muniz told Patch that troopers responded around 2 a.m. to an alarm at the Citgo station on School and South Main streets.

"We have no further information at this time," Muniz said.

On Wednesday, bandits unsuccessfully attempted to steal automated teller machines from the Mobil station on West Middle Turnpike in Manchester and the Valero station on Route 83 in Vernon.
