Buy Local, Support Hometown Artists At The Granby Artists Association Holiday Gift Show This Weekend

Check out a wide range of locally made, finely-crafted jewelry, ornaments, paintings and much more, along with live music, song and food this weekend at Holcomb Farm.

With the holiday shopping season in full swing, the Granby Artists Association (GAA) is offering a large selection of locally made art, jewelry and more for viewing and sale in a festive setting this weekend.

Holcomb Farm hosts the GAA Holiday Gift Show on Saturday and Sunday, with 11 local artists offering a range of items especially suited for the season. Along with the chance to buy local and meet area artists, Granby locals — from elementary school students caroling in French and Spanish to duets from Granby Memorial High School students — will provide a variety of musical entertainment. The Waste Not, Want Not Community Kitchen will offer soup and other warming foods. An additional attraction is the tree lighting and carol sing, which is scheduled for 5 p.m. Sunday.

“This community event is a great opportunity to purchase unique and affordable art for holiday giving, and a wonderful way to kindle your holiday spirit,” the GAA wrote in its newsletter.
