Violations Found At 4 Granby Smoke And Vape Shops: Police

GRANBY, CT — Members of the Granby Police Department, in conjunction with multiple state agencies, conducted compliance checks at eight tobacco and vape stores in Granby Tuesday, with four being found in violation of statutes.

The Department of Labor assessed a “Stop-Work Order” at the four locations: J & J Vape Variety, Smoker’s Discount World, Grape Ape Smoke N Vape, and Granby Food Mart.

During the check at J & J Vape Variety, 17.92 pounds of marijuana products were identified by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, Drug Control Division and were seized from the property. The store clerk, Mia Dellagiustina, was cited for illegal sale of a cannabis product, Capt. Kurt LaFlamme said.

Investigations are still ongoing.
