WEST GRANBY, CT — A local resident cashed in a 5-figure payday last week on a $10 CT Lottery scratch ticket purchased at a store in Bristol.

Dale Arpin won the top prize of $10,000 on a 10X Cash 16th Edition ticket bought at Sam's Food Store. The winnings were claimed Thursday, according to the CT Lottery website.

The CT Lottery posts winners of $10,000 or more as public record.
