Commercial Property In Downtown Greenwich Sold For Over $9M

GREENWICH, CT — CBRE, a commercial real estate services and investment firm, recently announced the $9.3 million sale of a mixed-use Central Business District (CBD) property in Greenwich.

Located at 39 Lewis St., just one block from Greenwich Ave., the building measures 17,081 square feet. It's 91 percent leased, according to CBRE, and "provides stable cash flow with office tenants on the upper floors and ground floor retail."

Splurge, a unique gift, home decor, clothing and jewelry shop, is located on the ground floor.

"39 Lewis provides a robust in-place Net Operating Income (NOI) in the strongest CBD market in the United States," said Jeffrey Dunne, one of the CBRE representatives in the sale.

CBRE also announced the sale of a 25,713 square foot boutique office building in Darien at 23 Old Kings Highway for $4.3 million.

"These transactions are a testament to Greenwich and Darien as being extremely desirable business destinations for discerning companies, which demand high quality office space within development-restricted markets," added Steven Bardsley, also of CBRE.

The identities of the sellers and buyers were not immediately announced.
