Greenwich Driver Faces DWI Charge
Following a two-vehicle crash, one driver was arrested, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT - A Greenwich driver is facing a driving while intoxicated charge following a two-vehicle crash on West Putnam Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
The driver was described has having “red, glassy eyes … an odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath” and failed sobriety tests following the crash on West Putnam Avenue near Benedict Place at 4:23 p.m. Feb. 23, according to a Greenwich Police report.
Yanina La-Chance, 41, of Valley Drive, Greenwich, was charged with driving while intoxicated and ticketed for unsafe movement, according to the report.

Her bond was set at $250 and she was scheduled to appear March 8 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
