A Greenwich Holiday Stroll

Enjoy the warm December weather to stroll, shop and knosh in central Greenwich.

The Greenwich holiday season continues on Sunday with the 7th annual Greenwich Holiday Stroll and if the sunny and unusually warm weather continues, legions of families and shoppers will be swarming the downtown Greenwich shopping district.

Parking will continue to tight throughout downtown but it’s certainly worth the effort and patience to find a spot to park.

There’s the live reindeer exhibit at McArdle’s on Arch Street. There are food, karate and ice sculpture demos on the front lawns of the Greenwich Arts/Senior Center on Greenwich Avenue and a food truck court in the parking lot of the Greenwich Board of Education headwuarters at 290 Greenwich Ave.

Trond Fletcher of Lobster Craft said Saturday’s weather created large crowds enjoing alfresco dining in the heart of Greenwich’s shopping district.

The horse-drawn carriage rides will continue Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. More than 100 Greenwich merchants and restaurants are offering promotions, including specials through GreenwichVIP.com, refreshments and in-store attractions.
