Greenwich Man Held as Fugitive from Justice
New York State Police said they discovered the arrest warrant after they stopped the man for speeding.

A Greenwich man is being held by New York State Police after he was stopped for speeding on the Taconic State Parkway and troopers discovered that he was wanted as a fugitive from justice in the state of New Jersey.
New York State Police from Rhinebeck arrested Kenneth Wheeler, 51, of Greenwich, as a fugitive of justice from the State of New Jersey on Saturday, according to a state police statement.
Wheeler was stopped for speeding on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Milan, and police said that ”a check of his driver’s license was conducted which revealed an outstanding warrant from Hudson County, New Jersey for Misapplication of Property over $75,000 (a Felony).”

Wheeler was arraigned in the Town of Milan Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to appear in Dutchess County Court on Monday at 9 a.m., according to state police.
