Greenwich Town Party Announces Headliners for 2016 Concert

Tickets are now on sale for the May 28 all-day affair.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Daryl Hall and John Oates will headline the sixth annual Greenwich Town Party (GTP), the all-day family music festival planned for Saturday, May 28 at the Roger Sherman Baldwin Park.

In an announcement Thursday, GTP officials said that Grammy Award winners John Fogerty and Tedeschi Trucks Band also are booked for the concert.

Two levels of tickets, Neighbor Tickets and Sponsor Tickets, are now available online for pre-sale at the GTP web site, greenwichtownparty.org. Held annually on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, the GTP brings multiple generations of Greenwich residents together to celebrate town pride and the spirit of giving through live music, local food favorites, and family-fun activities.

“Celebrating our sixth year, it’s simply wonderful that we can have a huge, day-long community event for the Town of Greenwich to come together, listen to music from award-winning artists, and enjoy every moment with family and friends,” GTP Event Manager Scot Weicker said in a statement. “Since the Greenwich Town Party Neighbor Tickets are coveted, they make terrific holiday gifts.”

In order to guarantee entry into the 2016 party, Greenwich residents and businesses can now purchase Neighbor and Sponsor Tickets and Packages. Neighbor Tickets, which cost $250 each, provide access to a designated Neighborhood Area with wine, beer and light fare, as well as designated parking. Sponsor Packages for individuals and businesses start at $1,250, and provide access to the Sponsor Tent with catered food and beverages throughout the day and evening, and premier parking in the Island Beach lot located directly across from Roger Sherman Baldwin Park. There are several levels of Sponsor packages that are listed at greenwichtownparty.org.
