Greenwich Youth Travel Baseball Team Helps Introduce Yankees Lineup On TV Broadcast
A local travel team helped introduce the lineup for the Yankees on the YES Network broadcast of Sunday's game against the Mets.
GREENWICH, CT — A Greenwich youth travel baseball team might be a good luck charm for the New York Yankees.
The Greenwich 9U travel baseball team, which is part of the Old Greenwich Riverside Community Center (OGRCC), helped introduce the starting lineup for the Yankees on the YES Network broadcast of Sunday's game against the New York Mets.
The Yankees won the game, 6-4, and snapped a six-game losing streak. The Bronx Bombers were helped out by a stunning double play from left fielder Cody Bellinger in the bottom of the seventh inning which helped stomp out a late game rally from the Mets.

After an off-day Monday, the Yankees welcomed in the Seattle Mariners to The Bronx and won their second game in a row on Tuesday by a score of 10-3.
It seems like the Yankees, who recently relinquished first place to the Toronto Blue Jays after several months atop the American League East, appear to be back on the winning track. And it all started with the OGRCC Greenwich 9U team on Sunday.
