Helicopters to be Used for Greenwich Utility Line Inspections
Greenwich Police advise that Eversource will be conducting aerial surveys of its transmission lines.
GREENWICH, CT - EverSource Energy will be conducting electric transmission line inspections and using a helicopter in the Greenwich area for the aerial surveys.
Weather permitting, the inspections will be done from 7 a.m. until dusk starting Friday Feb. 26 through and including Monday, Feb. 29, according to a Greenwich Police advisory.
Police said, “This requires low altitude flight and normally generates some concern to area residents.”

The helicopter to be used for the inspections is red, white and blue with registration numbers N503W, according to police.
