Like many children her age, Emily enjoyed playing with her big brother, reading stories, watching tv, interacting with other people, playdates and outings, and was especially fond of attending school. She was a Pre-School student at Parkway Elementary School in Greenwich.

Emily touched many lives and will be tremendously missed. In addition to her family and friends, Emily had an enormous loving team of nurses, doctors, therapists and teachers who all helped care for her. Her family takes comfort in the amazing 4 ½ years they had together despite Emily having Spinal Muscular Atrophy type1, where many children with that diagnosis do not survive to their 2nd birthday.
