Irene S. Catto, of Greenwich, died December 7, 2015 at age 94.
She was born July 23, 1921 to Leo J. and Ethel (Straight) Sweeney.

She worked as a bookkeeper for WGCH, retiring in 1978.
She is survived by her children Barbara (Robert) Merchant and James (Lori) Catto, as well as grandchildren, Suzanne (Andrew) Kalish, Chad (Diana) Armstrong, Robert (Dana) Merchant, Tracey (Aaron) Zeranski, TJ Catto and Stephanie (Nick) Haught and 6 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband J. Robert Catto, a daughter Lee Ann Armstrong and brothers Leo J. Sweeney and Harold Sweeney.
There will be a brief visitation at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday Dec. 10 followed by a 10 a.m. funeral mass at St. Mary R.C. Church and interment at St. Mary Cemetery.
