Misuse of 9-1-1 System Leads to Greenwich Woman's Arrest: Police
After being warned not to call 9-1-1 "for personal issues," police say the suspect repeatedly called the emergency dispatch center.
A Greenwich woman is facing six counts of misuse of a 911 system after a series of calls “for personal issues” that she allegedly made to Greenwich Police.
The woman was arrested about 5:35 p.m. Wednesday following the series of calls. “Despite being warned by dispatchers and officers, she refused to comply. Officers went out and made the arrest,” said police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray.
Gray said the woman “was intoxicated and incoherent and had a dispute with her parents and wanted her dog back.”
