Sports Celebration for Girls at Sacred Heart Greenwich

Sacred Heart Greenwich is inviting all girls ages four to 12-years-old to a free Sports Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the school’s new athletic center at the 1177 King St. campus in Greenwich.

Sacred Heart’s international coaching staff has planned a morning of sports clinics to give young girls the chance to get moving, try something new, work on skills, and enjoy the new facilities. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m.

Girls will be given the opportunity to explore the school’s new 35,600 sq. ft. athletic center, featuring dance/yoga studio, three gymnasiums and squash courts. An exciting morning is planned that will give girls a chance to show off their skills and work one-on-one with Sacred Heart’s coaches in dynamic sports clinics.

The program is organized into the following age groups and activities:

• 4 to 6 year-olds will move and groove in a dance program with teachers from Allegra Dance Studio from 9-10 a.m.

• 8 year-olds and under may participate in two clinics: Indoor Field Hockey or Indoor Soccer from 9-10 a.m. and Basketball or Squash from 10-11 a.m.

• 12 year-olds and under may participate in two clinics: Basketball or Squash from 9-10 a.m. and Indoor Field Hockey or Indoor Soccer from 10-11 a.m.
