FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 14, 2024… Connecticut’s 28 chapters of PEO International, the women’s philanthropic educational organization, seek a “few good women” interested in opening doors to more opportunities by completing their education. PEO offer grants, scholarships and loans to women at various levels of their educational goals. The Program for Continuing Education (PCE) provides needs-based grants to deserving women who may have had to delay completing their education for at least 24 months.

In 2023, PEO’s Program for Continuing Education celebrated 50 years awarding grants to women throughout the country and Canada. 13 fortunate women in Connecticut won PCE grants totaling more than $32,000. Any qualified woman in the State may apply for a grant to complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree; as well as professional certificates. The certificate can be in numerous occupations from dentistry, medicine, to social work, as long as it is from an accredited organization.
