QU Professor Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox to Speak on “Freedom and Our Bill of Rights Today”
The Hamden Democratic Town Committee invites the public to attend a thought-provoking presentation that will address current cases involving the amendments in the Bill of Rights, followed by a Q&A by Quinnipiac University Professor Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox. The event will take place on Wed. Jan 21st from 7:00-8:00pm at the Thornton Wilder Auditorium, 2901 Dixwell Ave, Hamden, CT 06518

Professor Gadkar-Wilcox teaches constitutional law and related courses at Quinnipiac University. She serves as Executive Director of the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights and is a Commissioner on the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO). Professor Gadkar-Wilcox also serves Connecticut’s 22nd State Senate District representing Bridgeport, Trumbull, and Monroe.
