Dog Rescued From Brook, Owner Sought: Hamden Animal Control

Two teens saw the dog "clinging on for dear life" to a fallen branch in the middle of the brook, according to animal control officials.

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Animal Control is asking for help with finding the owner of a dog that was rescued from the middle of the brook at Pine Rock Park.

“Luckily two teenage boys spotted this poor little dog clinging on for dear life to a fallen branch in the middle of the brook at Pine rock Park,” the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. “They were unable to get the dog so they called in and Hamden Animal Control was able to get the dog out of the brook to safety.
