Drugs, Guns Seized After Raid On Business In Hamden: Police
Authorities seized "large quantities" of cannabis and THC products and two guns after a raid at a business in Hamden, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — Authorities seized “large quantities” of cannabis and THC products and two guns after a raid at a business in Hamden on Tuesday night, according to police.
Hamden police, with assistance from the Hamden Fire Marshal’s Office, the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services, Department of Consumer Protection, and the DEA New Haven Field Office, executed a search warrant at The District at 295 Treadwell St. on Nov. 25.
The search resulted in the seizure of “large quantities of cannabis and THC products, including edibles and concentrates, as well as Xanax, psilocybin mushrooms, hashish, and Vyvanse,” according to Lt. Robert Manfield.

Manfield said officers also “recovered two firearms—a stolen .45-caliber Glock 30S with an obliterated serial number and an unlawfully possessed 9mm Glock 48.”
Ramy Dasan was arrested at the scene on two outstanding arrest warrants from Orange for violation of probation, according to Manfield.

Dasan was held in lieu of a $5,000 bond with a court date of Dec. 9.
Manfield said the incident is still being investigated, and more arrests are expected.
“Last evening, Hamden Police Officers, working in collaboration with our law enforcement partners and acting on information provided by members of our community, executed a court-authorized search and seizure warrant,” Hamden Police Chief E.P. Reynolds said in a statement. “This operation resulted in the recovery of a significant quantity cannabis and THC products, narcotic substances and firearms. The success of this operation reflects the strength of our partnership with the Hamden community and the dedication of our officers and investigative teams. We commend the professionalism and hard work of everyone involved in this ongoing investigation.”
