Final Hamden Free Summer Concert Series Is Tonight: What To Know Before You Go

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Arts Commission and the Town of Hamden are reminding residents of the final concert in the 2024 Hamden Free Summer Concert Series is Friday, Aug. 30.

UPDATE: ‘Fatman Scoop’ Suffers Medical Emergency While Performing In Hamden

Fatman Scoop brings the party to Hamden tonight, Friday, Aug. 30 with his booming voice for the Green and Gold Party. NYC native Fatman Scoop is a hype man and radio personality with several guest performances on various hip-hop songs that have topped charts. Joining Fatman Scoop are “The Show” DJ Binky B & Big E, as well as Hollywood & DJ SW1. Attendees are encouraged to wear green and gold attire.

Hamden Superintendent Gary Highsmith and two-time championship 2023-2024 Hamden Varsity Girls Basketball Team will be honored as the Summer Concert Series Awardees.

All shows will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hamden’s Town Center Park, 2761 Dixwell Ave with ample free parking. To park, please enter Town Center Park through the Hamden Middle School, 2623 Dixwell Ave. Parking can also be found at the Miller Cultural Complex, 2901 Dixwell Ave.
