Frank E. Monsell, 89, of Hamden, husband of the late Dorothy Foley Monsell passed away at the Arden House in Hamden on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013.
Frank was born on July 5, 1923, son of the late George and Elsie Brown Monsell. He was a graduate of Hill House High School class of 1941.
He was a U.S.Army Veteran private first class. Frank loved life, and enjoyed walking and strolling Whitney Avenue daily.

The hours of visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m., with a service at 4:30 p.m. at the Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Ave. Interment will be private.
