Hamden Legislative Candidate Endorsed by State Pro-Life Group

Connecticut Right to Life's political arm urges voters in Hamden to vote for Marjorie Bonadies on November 8.

Connecticut Right to Life’s political arm (CRLC PAC) urges voters in Hamden’s 88th House district to vote for Marjorie Bonadies on November 8th. They cite three area where Bonadies agrees with their platform which they believe coincide with priorities of Hamden voters.

Having worked in hospital and outpatient settings, Marjorie understands the difficult healthcare issues confronting Connecticut families, including terminal illness.
“We have hospice that can preserve patients dignity and alleviate their pain. This can be done in their own homes, as well as inpatient setting. Assisted Suicide is a slippery slope I am not comfortable with,” says Bonadies, a current Councilwoman in the 9th District. Legislators have considered assisted suicide legislation that has been defeated three times.
“In some states where suicide has been legalized, health insurance companies have suggested that patients commit suicide rather than pay for the treatment. This is a very dangerous proposal,” says O’Brien. “Marjorie’s healthcare experience provides the right leadership to protect our loved ones in Hartford.”
