Hamden Police Captain Appointed To New Post In Nearby Town
The appointment is effective Dec. 15, the Hamden Police Department announced.
HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Police Captain Raymond Quinn has been appointed as the new Deputy Police Chief for the Woodbridge Police Department, Hamden Police Chief E. P. Reynolds announced.
Quinn will officially assume his position on Dec. 15, bringing with him “decades of experience, leadership, and dedication to community service,” according to a news release.
Reynolds praised Quinn’s appointment to his new post in Woodbridge.

“Captain Raymond Quinn has served with distinction, embodying the values of professionalism, accountability, and service that define this department,” Reynolds said. “As Captain Quinn takes on a new role beyond Hamden, we take pride in knowing that our department’s tradition of excellence will continue to reach and strengthen other communities.”
Reynolds said Quinn’s advancement reflects the department’s continued success in preparing officers for greater responsibility.
