Hamden Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize

HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden resident recently won $10,000 on a lottery ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $10,000 on a KENO ticket that was sold at Around The Clock Inc. at 1372 Whalley Ave. in New Haven, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
