Banksy was lost late Monday morning. He was coming up the yellow trail on the backside (NW corner) of Mountain Road in Hamden to join his owner's hiking group up on Baldwin Drive. Banksy ran north after a deer and left her before she made it up to them.
They separated into different grids and searched West Rock for him all afternoon. The search ended at dark but a group will keep a vigil overnight.
It has also been reported to the Hamden Police in case anyone spots him but can't get close enough to read his tags He is apprehensive around people he doesn't know.

His owners will be going out Tuesday morning to resume the search. If anyone (dog owner or not) would like to take a hike and help find this 2-year old, please contact jockomo@comcast.net.
