‘Heartless’: Dog Abandoned In Park With Bag Of Food, Hamden Animal Control Says
"She was waiting patiently for her owner to come back, but they never came," according to the animal control.

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Animal Control is asking for help with finding the owner of a dog that was abandoned in a park.
“Who was so heartless to leave this sweet girl in the park with a bag of dog food,” the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. “She was waiting patiently for her owner to come back, but they never came. She deserves better. If you recognize this dog please call 203-230-4080. If you saw something say something.”
The animal control has named the dog "Tinsel," officials said in an update.

She will be available for adoption on Dec. 10, according to the animal control.
Tinsel weighs about 40 pounds and officials said she was "scared of the cats, seems to be good with other dogs," and listens well.
