Holly Berry Festival Returns for 47th Year in Hamden

Taking place November 21-22 at Sacred Heart Academy

HAMDEN – Get ready to kick off the Christmas season at the annual Holly Berry Festival, a beloved Hamden tradition for 47 years! The festival returns to Sacred Heart Academy on November 21–22, bringing festive cheer, handcrafted wares, food and fun for the whole family.

Hosted by the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Holly Berry Festival is a juried craft fair featuring more than 45 artisans from across Connecticut offering unique gifts, holiday décor, jewelry, apparel, accessories and more—just in time for Christmas shopping. Visitors will also find a selection of handcrafted treasures and specialty food made by the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Holly Berry also features an exciting lineup of raffle drawings, including high-value gifts and Visa gift cards. Other drawings include gift basket raffles, restaurant gift cards, and fully decorated Christmas trees and wreaths.

Be sure to bring the whole family to enjoy pictures with Santa, face painting and a children’s craft area. A food court featuring hot and cold foods is open on both days, and there is also a bake sale featuring delicious treats made by the Sisters.

Admission and parking are free. Festival hours are 3:00-8:00 pm on Friday, November 21, and 10:00 am – 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 22.

Can’t make it in person? Shop online Nov. 14-17 for handcrafted items made by the Sisters at hollyberry.org. Event proceeds benefit the care of the retired and aging Apostle Sisters.
