Katherine Richo DeStefano, 75, of Port Richey, FL., died Dec. 15, 2012, in Hamden, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family.
"Sis" was born in New Haven, Dec. 12, 1938, the daughter of Catherine Wiley Richo of Hamden and the late Anthony Richo, and was employed at Schmitz Lighting for 15 years. She then moved to Florida 20 years ago where she was office manager at Pasco County Hospice for 8 years. After retiring, she was an active volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul Society.
She is survived by her children, AnnaMarie DeStefano of Hamden, Mrs. Jeffrey (Michelle) Green of Stratford, Mrs. Todd (Loree) White of West Haven, Anthony DeStefano of Hamden and Robert (Patricia) DeStefano of East Haven. She also leaves brothers, Bernard (Sandra) Richo and Edward (Donna) Richo, both of East Haven, as well as nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, David DeStefano. She will be sadly missed by her extended family in Florida.

Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass Friday at 11a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment private. There are no calling hours.
