Catholic leader and speaker Kerry Alys Robinson, president and CEO of Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA)—the official domestic relief agency of the U.S. Catholic Church—will serve as the keynote speaker for the Lights of Faith dinner at the Aqua Turf Club on April 28, 2024.

A sought-after writer and speaker, Robinson is sure to deliver profound words of inspiration.

Lights of Faith is a dinner fundraiser hosted by the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, an international congregation of Catholic religious Sisters whose U.S. Province is based in Hamden, Conn. With Sisters throughout Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Florida and Missouri, the Apostles minister in Catholic schools, parishes, Diocesan offices, social services and health care.

Lights of Faith includes a four-course meal and entertainment to benefit the mission of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Proceeds will support the education of young Sisters as they prepare to become professed Apostles; the care of the retired Apostle Sisters who have dedicated their lives to serving others; the work of Apostle Immigrant Services, which helps immigrants in the greater New Haven area attain U.S. citizenship and legal residence; and the new congregational mission in Ghana, where three U.S. Apostles are serving in the local parish and school.
