She was a member of the Hamden Junior Womens League and enjoyed crafts, baking and playing bingo.

Lorraine V. Barbiuto Sette, 72, of Hamden, died Jan. 3, 2013 after a long illness.
Lorraine was born in New Haven, Jan. 25, 1941, the daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Ranga Barbiuto and resided in Hamden all her life. She was employed at Elm City Cheese and Sikorsky Aircraft prior to her illness.
She was a member of the Hamden Junior Womens League and enjoyed crafts, baking and playing bingo.

She is survived by her children, Alice Sette of Hamden, Paul R. Sette Jr., of West Haven and Matthew (Dawn) Sette of No. Branford, siblings, Rita (Everett) Lister of Wlfg., Barbara (Rocco) D'Addio of Meriden and George Barbiuto of North Haven, a sister in law, Janet Barbiuto of Wallingford, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Barbiuto and a nephew, Rocco D'Addio Jr.
Her funeral leaves this morning (Monday) at 9:15 a.m. from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Stephen's Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
