Man Robs Dunkin Donuts Drive-Thu

A man reached through the drive-thru window of the State Street Dunkin Donuts Sunday night and took cash out of the register, according to police.

 

Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed the Dunkin Donuts on State Street by reaching through the drive-thru window and taking cash out of the register.

It happened on Sunday at about 8:15 p.m., according to Hamden Police spokesman Capt. Ronald Smith, when the man reached in and took the cash out of the unattended register.

The man fled on foot, Smith said, and Officer Craig Appleby and his K-9 partner “Hunter” weren't able to track him in the area.

The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap, Smith said.
