Obituary: Esther Louise Moore, 93, of Hamden
Esther, known for her love and beautiful smile, worked many years in healthcare and was a devoted caretaker for her adoring family.
HAMDEN, CT - (From Colonial Funeral Home) Esther Louise Moore 93, of Hamden departed this life on June 20,2022. Esther was born on February 16,1929 in Martin County, NC to the late Yancy and Addie Council.
Esther spent most of her life in Connecticut where she retired as a laundry/healthcare worker, as well as raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She loved children and people in general there was nothing that she wouldn’t do for anyone.
Her love and beautiful smile were priceless.
Esther leaves behind her life partner Elworth Mobley, 2 children Pansy Wiggins, Charlie Moore Jr, and a deceased son Alfonzo “Danny” Moore.
Esther, whom was the last of 16 to enter into rest also leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Esther’s life will be held on Thursday June 30, 2022 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden.
