Possible Noose Found At Facility In Hamden: Report

HAMDEN, CT — A CTtransit driver reported finding a noose hanging at the CTtransit Hamden Garage on Wednesday morning, according to WTNH News 8.

CTtransit officials told WTNH 8 that they “do not suspect any ill intent” and said there are several ropes at the bus maintenance facility that are used to make sure the battery electric bus charging cables retract.

As a result of the incident, officials said in a statement to WTNH that they have ordered “D” style pull handles to “attach to the end of the ropes at the charging stations to eliminate future misunderstanding.”
